Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of LabSource (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What LabSource is

LabSource is a directory and search tool that helps scientists and lab managers find out who sells a given lab item or service in Israel: reagents, consumables, equipment, second-hand instruments and related services. We are not a marketplace: we do not sell anything ourselves, we do not process payments, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a seller.

Information provided "as is"

Listings, prices, availability, specifications, contact details and lead times are collected from public sources and from sellers, and are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep information accurate and current (each listing shows when it was last checked), but we cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy at any given moment. Always confirm price, availability, specifications and terms directly with the seller before purchasing.

Independent directory, not the official website of any seller or manufacturer

LabSource is independent. It is not the official website of any manufacturer, brand, distributor, service provider or other seller listed on it, and a listing does not imply endorsement, partnership or authorization unless it is expressly marked as confirmed by that seller. Names, trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify products and their sellers.

Prices. Where a price is shown it is indicative only. Each price shows its source (provided by the seller or collected from a public web page) and the date it was provided or collected. Prices may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, may exclude VAT, shipping, discounts or other charges, and are not an offer. The price you pay is set solely by the seller. For current prices, availability and specifications, contact the seller directly.

No responsibility for products, services or sellers. LabSource does not sell, supply, install, service or guarantee any product or service. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, suitability, delivery, warranty or price of anything offered by a seller, or for any seller's acts or omissions. Information on the Site may contain errors; to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on it.

AI-assisted answers

Some search results and summaries on the Site are generated with the help of artificial intelligence models. AI-generated answers may be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong. They are provided to help you find the right seller faster, not as professional, technical, regulatory or purchasing advice. Independently verify anything you rely on.

Seller notes are not verified

Sellers may add free-text notes to their own listings (for example, about stock or condition). Unless a listing is explicitly marked "Approved by seller", these notes and other seller-submitted content have not been independently verified by us and are the seller's sole responsibility.

Transactions happen directly with sellers

Any inquiry, quote request, order or purchase happens directly between you and the seller. LabSource is not a party to that transaction, does not guarantee its outcome, and is not responsible for the seller's products, services, pricing, delivery, warranties or conduct. Disputes about a transaction are between you and the seller.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or systematically copy the Site's content other than through normal browsing or documented interfaces;
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting sellers through the Site;
• upload or submit content you do not have the right to share (see the Listing Terms for sellers);
• interfere with the Site's operation or attempt to bypass its security or rate limits;
• use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, code, text and compilation of listings are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Brand names, logos and product images belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Seller-submitted content is licensed to us as described in the Listing Terms.

Reporting problems

If something looks wrong (a wrong seller, an outdated contact, incorrect item information or a missing seller), please use "Report an error" at the bottom of any page. We review reports but cannot guarantee a specific response time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the Site.
