Is LabSource a store? Can I buy directly on the Site?

No. LabSource is a directory and search tool. It tells you who sells an item or service in Israel. Every purchase happens directly with the seller, by phone, WhatsApp, email or their own site.

Is it really free?

Yes. Searching, comparing and sending quote requests cost nothing, and we don't take a commission from sellers.

Do I need an account?

No. Signing in is optional — you can search, compare and request quotes without one. A free account keeps your search history on every device, shows prices where sellers published them, and lets you vote on what we build next.

How current is the information?

Every listing shows when it was last checked. Listings marked "Approved by seller" were confirmed by the seller directly; others are compiled from public sources by our team and may be less current. Found a mistake? Report it from the page and we'll fix it.

Can I trust the AI-generated summaries and answers?

They're a starting point, not a guarantee. AI-assisted answers can be incomplete or wrong; please verify anything important directly with the seller. See the Terms of Service for details.

Is this the sellers' official website?

No. LabSource is an independent directory. Details come from sellers' public websites and from sellers who confirmed them with us. Please confirm the final price and availability with the seller.

Can suppliers pay to appear higher?

Not today: order is by relevance. If we add sponsored placements, they will be clearly labeled as sponsored.

What data do you keep about my searches?

We keep the search terms and what was found (or not), without linking any of it to you — unless you're signed in and chose to keep search history. This helps us improve search and fill gaps in the catalog, for example adding a missing seller or item. If you turn on personalization, a small profile of the item types you search is also kept on your own device only. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

What happens when I send a quote request?

Only the sellers you choose receive it, with the items and quantities you entered. They answer you directly. We don't sell your details to anyone.

What if I can't find what I'm looking for, or a seller is missing?

Search anyway — if it's not in the catalog, we look it up on the web and show which Israeli company most likely carries it, marked "found online". The search is also logged, so it gets added. You can also use "Report an error" (in the footer, or on the empty-results page), including reporting a missing seller for an item that already exists in the catalog.

Who is behind LabSource?

A small independent team from the Israeli life-science community. Suggestions and bug reports go on the ideas board, and we read every one.

For sellers

Why join at all?

Because scientists already search here for the products you sell. Once your details are confirmed you're listed first among the sellers of your products and brands, quote requests go straight to the right sales rep, and it's free.

How much does it cost to be listed?

Nothing. Listing, confirming and receiving quote requests are free. If we add paid options later, they'll be labeled as sponsored.

How do we get control of our company page?

1. Sign in and request access. Sign in with Google or email, then on the "My account" page pick your company from the list, or "My company isn't listed" to join as a new supplier.
2. We verify you. Our team checks the request; we'll email you once you're approved.
3. Fill it in, and it's published. Open "Manage listing" (or the personal link we emailed you), fill in your details, and we publish it after a quick check.

Got a personal link from us by email? You can open it directly — no sign-in needed.

What do we need to fill in?

1. Company details — name, main email, phone and website. Optional: logo, a dedicated email for quote requests, and a support email.
2. Brands — which brands you sell or represent, and whether you're the exclusive distributor.
3. Contacts — name, role and email (required); phone and coverage regions (optional); and whether the contact receives quote requests.
4. Products and services (optional) — paste a link to a product page and we'll fill in the details for you, or upload an Excel file. Products (not services) need the manufacturer's catalog number.
5. Review and submit — check everything, enter the name and email of whoever is confirming, and send. We publish after a quick check.

What if we sell second-hand equipment?

Mark the item's condition accordingly in the template (or we'll detect it from your notes). Second-hand items are automatically labeled as such on the Site.

Can we control what's shown about our company?

Yes. Once you have control of your page and it's verified, you approve each listing, and you can request a correction or removal at any time. See the Listing Terms.

Where did you get our details?

From your public website: the brands you list and your contact pages. You can correct or remove any of it.

Can we be removed?

Yes. Contact us and we'll take down the listing or any part of it.

Who sees our prices?

Signed-in users. Prices are shown as indicative, with your company name and the date, and you can remove them at any time.

Can several people at our company manage the listing?

Yes. Each person signs in and requests access, and we approve every person individually. An email address at your domain isn't enough on its own.

How are results ranked?

Relevance comes first. Among equally relevant results, Partners are listed first. The full rules are public.
